Agroecological transition, biodiversity, climate change, value creation for farmers, open innovation, change of practices, redesign of cropping systems... Faced with these challenges, Occitanum proposes to mobilise digital technologies to accelerate the agroecological transition, allow farmers to regain an income and offer populations access to local and sustainable food.

The project is experimenting with new solutions on a real scale thanks to its archipelago Living Lab deployed on 13 geographical sites in the Occitanie Region, i.e. a laboratory of uses that brings together, in the heart of the territories and for 7 sectors, groups of farmers, local authorities, agricultural development players, AgTech entrepreneurs and consumers, accompanied by researchers, engineers and teachers. Occitanum develops innovative projects for arboriculture, beekeeping, livestock, field crops, viticulture, market gardening and local food.
